August 30th, the one year anniversary of the release of Segundo Romance, he is awarded with a platinum certification by the RIAA for sales of more than 1,000,000 units.
Produces El Concierto, a trilogy consisting of a two-CD set, a home video and laserdisc and a television special. El Concierto is recorded during his sixteen-night stand at the Auditorio Nacional de Mexico on August 18, 1994. A two-hour TV special is produced, and is also made available on home video. El Concierto includes all of his greatest hits and also incorporates new interpretations of traditional mariachi standards, "Si Nos Dejan" (If They Let Us) and "Amanecí en tus Brazos" (I Woke Up In Your Arms).
The 1995 fall tour through the U.S. and Puerto Rico begins on September 15 in Las Vegas to promote his new project, "El Concierto." With more than thirty performances during seven consecutive weeks, it is his most extensive tour in this country.
In September, the first single from El Concierto goes to No. 1 on radio charts in Argentina, Mexico and the U.S. after two weeks of release.
On October 17th, Luis Miguel's new album El Concierto is released on double CD, cassette, laser disc and home video formats. In mid-November the two-hour TV special is simulcast in the U.S. , Puerto Rico and Latin America, completing the third phase of the trilogy.
In November, he had the honor of participating in the celebration of Frank Sinatra's eightieth birthday, the only Latin artist invited to sing at this special occasion.

After surpassing one million copies sold world-wide, El Concierto earns the following international certifications: Argentina: 3 x platinum, Bolivia: Gold, Central America: Platinum, Chile: Platinum, Ecuador: Gold, Mexico: Platinum, Paraguay: Platinum, Uruguay: Platinum, Venezuela: 2 x Platinum and once again for the U.S. and Puerto Rico: RIAA Gold, as well as an RIAA Gold certification for the home video.
In May, Luis Miguel wins the "Premio Lo Nuestro a la Musica Latina" award for the Best Male Artist of the year in the Pop/Ballad category.
Records "Sueña" (Dream) composed by Alan Menken and Stephen Schwartz, which appears on the soundtrack of the film The Hunchback of Notre Dame produced by Disney Studios.
Produces, directs and performs Nada es Igual (Nothing is the Same), his first studio-recorded album in more than two years. The projects completes the first dozen releases recorded by Luis Miguel for Warner Music International.
Films the videoclip for "Dame" (Give Me) in the Mojave Desert of California under the guidance of the prestigious German director Marcus Nispel. The incredible production includes special effects created especially for the interpretation of the song.
On July 15th, radio stations all over the American continent and Spain receive copies of "Dame", which immediately ranks on all formats of the Latin radio Billboard charts.
The Walk of Fame selection Committee in Hollywood honors Luis Miguel with the placement of a star on the sidewalk of the famous avenue, the star was presented on September 26, 1996 to record breaking attendance. Recognizing the artistic value of his career, the event places him on the same level as stars such as Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley.
Nada es Igual is released for sale in the U.S. and all Spanish-speaking countries on the 10th of August. It debuts on the Billboard Top 200 chart at #43, rivaling only his own track record for first-week sales by a Spanish-language artist. Luis Miguel began a multi-continental tour during November 1996. Luis Miguel is invited to sing the theme "Someday" from the Disney Masterpiece "The Hunchback of Notre Dame" on the 30th anniversary of Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas Nevada. The performance was televised by ABC and watched by millions of people in the United States, witnesses of the incomparable voice and image of the Spanish Idol.

1997
After an absence of 6 moths working on records, Luis Miguel surprises the world once again realeasing his third album of Boleros: "Romances", another piece of romanticism, enchant, and exquisite music that includes timeless melodies like "Por Debajo de la Mesa" from Armando Manzanero, "El Reloj", "Sabor a mi", "La Gloria eres tu" and "Besame Mucho". The album brakes the record established by Segundo Romance in 1994, entering on the 14th position in the Billboard chart in its first week. This success takes Luis Miguel to begin a World Tour on September 12th, 1997. Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas is the first place to receive him and admire him for four nights of steamy interpretations of boleros and Mexican music denominated Mariachis. The tour continue in the United States, performing in new places and making an excellent debut in cities like Orlando, Chicago, Washington D.C and many more. Miguel travels to Mexico selling out tickets for 10 presentations in four hours.

1998
After visiting Buenos Aires and Rosario in Argentina, Vina del Mar in Chile, Puerto Rico and achieving awards, Luis Miguel kept on touring in the U.S selling out concerts. "Romances" wins the 1998 Grammy award becoming his fourth, and the single "Contigo" remains on the the Top 20 in the U.S.
All these fully deserved achievements inspired Luis Miguel to expand his current tour to Europe. Madrid, Barcelona, Malaga, Zaragoza and other cities in Spain will have the priviledge to see him in concert on May of this year. In only three hours the tickets for the first four presentations in Madrid were sold out, showing once again that boundaries do not exist for this International Star.

In April of this year he obtained the World Music Award for the third time in Monaco as the Most Selling Latin Album in 1997 and 1998. He performed the songs: "Voy a Apagar la Luz" and "Contigo Aprendi" live.
